NIGERIA CADET NETWORK SUPPORTS CHILDREN’S DAY QUIZ COMPETITION WITH 500 EXERCISE BOOKS IN ILE-IFE

The Nigeria Cadet Network (NCN), Osun State Command, has once again demonstrated its commitment to education, child development, and community impact by supporting the 7th Edition of the Ojaja Primary School Mathematics Quiz Competition held in celebration of the 2026 Children’s Day.

The event took place at Baptist Central Primary School beside Oduduwa College, Ile-Ife, and brought together pupils from different schools who displayed outstanding intelligence, confidence, and academic excellence during the competition.

Led by the Osun State Commander, Aux. Commander Adegboyega Samuel O., the Nigeria Cadet Network donated 500 copies of the Educate to Protect exercise books to pupils as part of its educational support initiative aimed at encouraging learning and promoting child protection awareness.

The initiative further reflects the organization’s dedication to empowering young people through meaningful educational and humanitarian programs that positively shape society.

Speaking during the event, members of the organization appreciated the Lead Team Coordinator, Mr. Amos Chidi, for his dedication, encouragement, and support toward the successful hosting of the competition. His passion for educational growth and youth development was highly commended by participants and guests alike.

The exercise books distributed during the event were generously sponsored by Her Regal Majesty, Olori Amb. Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi, wife of the Ooni of Ife. She also serves as the Royal Grand Matron of the Nigeria Cadet Network and the Brand Ambassador of the Educate to Protect Project.

Her continuous support for children, education, and humanitarian causes has remained a source of inspiration to the organization and the wider community. The Osun State Command expressed deep appreciation to Her Regal Majesty for consistently supporting initiatives that uplift and protect children through education and advocacy.

As Children’s Day 2026 is celebrated across the country, the Nigeria Cadet Network reaffirmed its commitment to building a safer, educated, disciplined, and empowered generation through impactful community-based programs.
