The Nigerian Cadet Network (NCN) Osun State Command Headquarters is proud to announce a transformative expansion through the merger of the NYDN Ode Omu Command with several other commands. This significant development marks a pivotal moment in the organization’s history, aimed at fostering greater unity and collaborative strength across the Network. The formal announcement was made during a momentous meeting held at the Ode Omu Cadet Base.


The meeting commenced with a warm and heartfelt welcome from Officer Olaide Yaya, who expressed profound gratitude to the attendees. Officer Yaya acknowledged the presence of the Nigerian Cadet Network State Commander, Aux. Amb. Lt. Col. Adegboyega Samuel O., heads of patrons, matrons, marshals, Aux. L.t Akiyefa B.C., and other state commander's entourage. His opening remarks set a tone of enthusiasm and mutual respect, highlighting the importance of the occasion.

Officer Sunday then addressed the gathering with an encouraging message about moving forward. He emphasized the need to put past challenges behind and to embrace a new chapter under the unified banner of the Nigerian Cadet Network. His call to action was clear: it is time to come together, reconcile differences, and focus on the shared goals that will drive the Network’s future success.


Aux. L.t Akinyefa took the opportunity to brief all officers present on the recent developments within the organization. He provided detailed insights into the changes brought about by the merger and outlined how these developments will enhance the Network’s operations. His briefing highlighted the potential for achieving great things through collective effort and strategic collaboration.

State Commander Aux. Amb. L.t Col. Adegboyega Samuel O. delivered a heartfelt address, expressing deep appreciation for the NYDN Ode Omu Command’s bold decision to merge. He assured them of the Nigerian Cadet Network Osun State Command HQs' unwavering support in all areas, emphasizing that the merger is guided by principles of love, unity, and peace.
