NIGERIA CADET NETWORK OSUN STATE COMMAND STRENGTHENS TIES WITH ICCON FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC EDE COMMAND DURING VISITATION

In a significant step toward fostering collaboration and community engagement, the Nigeria Cadet Network Osun State Command embarked on a visitation to Ede Polytechnic, establishing connections with the cadet base and holding discussions with the Sub Dean of Student Affairs.

The visit took place on Friday 26th January, 2024 at ICCON Federal Polytechnic Ede Command, attracting members of the Nigeria Cadet Network Osun State Command eager to explore opportunities for partnership and mutual benefit.

The visit began with a tour of the cadet base, providing members of the Nigeria Cadet Network with insights into the facilities and activities of the polytechnic's cadet unit.

Discussions with the Sub Dean of Student Affairs focused on potential collaborations between ICCON Federal Polytechnic Ede Command and the Nigeria Cadet Network. Areas of interest included joint training programs, community outreach initiatives, educational partnerships and the state government recognition.

An interactive session allowed members of both organizations to share insights, experiences, ideas for future collaborations and gyrate together. The exchange of perspectives aimed to strengthen the bond between the cadet community and Federal Polytechnic Ede.

Both parties expressed a keen interest in fostering collaboration to enhance the educational experience and community impact of the cadets, discussions centered around exploring joint initiatives, including training programs, community development projects and educational outreach efforts. Plans for future engagements was also discussed, including joint events and activities, were discussed as both organizations look forward to a long and fruitful partnership.

Engr Agboola Mutiu K. the Sub Dean of Student Affairs, Federal Polytechnic Ede, welcome the Nigeria Cadet Network with open arms. This collaboration aligns with our commitment to providing holistic development opportunities for our students, community and Osun State at large. He also appreciate both ICCON Federal Polytechnic Ede Command and Nigeria Cadet Network Osun State Command for the support, selfless service and finally assure us that as far as ICCON Federal Polytechnic Ede Command and Nigeria Cadet Network Osun State Command are still working towards the progress of the institution and communities by continue serving the humanity the sky will be the starting point.

Osun State Commander of Nigeria Cadet Network Aux. Amb. Lt. Col. Adegboyega Samuel O. said the visit marks the beginning of a promising collaboration between our organizations. We are excited about the possibilities for mutual growth, positive impact in Osun State at large and we will surely continue serving the humanity with all our strength in all area.

In attendance, the Sub Dean of Student Affairs, Engr Agboola Mutiu K., the Chief Instructor Rtrd. Major Abodunrin Bolarinwa(Mjr. White), the Commanding Officer ICCON Ede Polytechnic, Cdt. Major I.A. Olawuyi and others.

The visitation concluded with an optimistic outlook for future engagements and collaborations between the Nigeria Cadet Network Osun State Command and ICCON Ede Polytechnic. Both organizations expressed enthusiasm about the potential positive impact on the community and the cadet experience.
